            Strategic Planning

The Strategic Plan was designed to align with the College’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values, as well as the expectations for institutions of higher education by all applicable governmental and accrediting agencies. The plan provides direction and guidance for the College on how to best serve its students and ensure their future success. This document is reviewed and refreshed annually by a college-wide planning committee, and approved by the District Board of Trustees (BOT).

            Institutional Effectiveness

Our Institutional Effectiveness (IE) process ensures college-wide continuous improvement. We engage all of our Pathway Communities, administrative, and support services units to participate in an annual cycle of planning, measuring, and assessing their outcomes to demonstrate how well we are accomplishing our mission. The IE process also facilitates compliance with our regional accrediting body, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Broward College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Contact the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Broward College.
